We’re Not ALL Cut Out to Be “Employees” Right?
To day I want to talk about a subject that has been close to my heart – for many years EDUCATION and SUCCESS. What is a DEGREE? And I don’t mean the lines on a thermometer. To me education has always been an aquired knowledge, a learned skill, a degree in any subject is a tool to get a J.O.B. to make a living with.
Any society in order to function proper it is required to have one of each, we cannot be all of the same skill or gender. And here I will raise the following question?
Which skill is more important? Academic, Industrial, Trade? We seem to lean on the academic site, Educator, Doctor, Lawyer, the rest. Oh you are only a Carpenter, a Mason, a Plumber, etc.
Why is my education in my trade/skill less important than the E.D.L.’s, and most important, why am I not equally compensated?
Does the word DISCRIMINATION comes to mind, it should.
Another thing, the Employee Mentality has been drummed in to our heads, among others.
BUT, you’ve come a long way BABY.
I remember as a young worker, working for a large company I confronted my supervisor, as to why I am getting less pay than the man next to me? The answer, well he is married and has a family, so I replied, what the hell has that to do with it I am doing the same work equally good or better.
Let’s look at the Employer Mentality, do you really think he/she is smarter than you? Because he/she is in business, Well you are making him/her money with your skilled labor so he/she must be. YES and NO.
The day you change from the employee to the employer/self employed mentality you, too, can be successful in business.
Education, money has nothing to do with becoming successful in business.
Only your mentality prevents you. With all the opportunities particularly on the internet, there are more millionaires created than at any time in history, many will tell you education and money had nothing to do with it, some did not even finished high school.
For many the HOME BUSINESS INDUSTRY, AND THE INTERNET IS THE SIMPLEST WAY TO FIND OUT WHAT YOU ARE MADE OF!
Here I will make a concession. I know some people make excellent employees, but will not make it as an employer, or self employed. I challenge all of you who are willing to find out what you are made of, prove it to yourself and than forever keep your peace.
Now lets make things happen.
