PostHeaderIcon Time For Everyone To Travel

In these times there are billions of people traveling every year, hundreds of thousands every day globally. For the next 20 + years This will not only continue but increase why? The so called baby boomers are becoming of retirement age. Now lets take a look at this, what do you think they want to do most ? Let me ask you, what do you want to do when you retire? You now have the time, and hopefully be of good health, and the finances to fulfil your life long dreams.

Here I hope you will pay close attention. I have been traveling for many, many years this gives me a good idea what is the best way to do it. Before I tell you, let me ask you this question? What would you rather do, pay retail for everything and you do all the work, make all the detailed arrangements… or let someone else with over 21 years professional experience in the global travel industry, do all the work involved, and pay only one third the price of what every body else is charging. Use it any time go anywhere with no restrictions.

PostHeaderIcon After 26 Long Years

The three days we stayed with uncle Nick and his family where most pleasant. We shared many memories and life experiences of the past two and a half decades. In spite of the present circumstances we even had fun, as if the world outside didn’t matter. I even believed our presence lifted the spirits of all present, even for only a brief moment.

The last evening was no different, we continued to party until late into the night the thought of tomorrow never entered in to our minds, as if tomorrow will never come we where happy in the now. No one wanted to have this day end, end it did and we all retired. Early the next morning as every morning the rooster crowed to announce the dawning of a new day.

This is the long awaited day after 26 years I am going home. My thoughts and feelings of the last few days changed as we started to pack the car, and prepared to leave. By now it was mid morning we departed with the promise we will be back again in a few days.

My apprehension heightened but still under control, we crossed the Mures river heading north through the city of Arad. Reaching the outskirt of the city the first reality met us, the paved road ended, and a dusty dirt road began. The next 20 kilometers almost became a nightmare. Up until now we could drive with the windows and sunroof open, even dough the temperature was already high after all this is July its summertime.

Driving was very slow, every time a vehicle came from the opposite way the dust cloud was so thick we had to close all windows and sunroof we could hardly breath, another problem we had no air condition only a fan. Driving in 100 degrees temperature with closed windows, on an extremely dusty road with no air exchange in the car was unbearable to say the least.

A road sign at the edge of town read M A C E A This was a welcome sign to me. Some of the places looked familiar the people did not. We entered at one end of town our house was almost at the other, just a few more minutes and I will be home. As we came within sight of my home I slowly turned in to our driveway my mind took leave of absence. I don’t remember who or how the door opened I just drove in to our yard, parked, sat there for a few seconds until I opened the door of the car to breath.

A group of strangers greeted us, the only way I knew who they were, we had received a photo of my family a few months earlier. My father a white haired broken man, my two brothers now grown up the youngest one married with an eight year old daughter, a charming wife. My mother long since deceased. I can’t even imagine what they have thought of seeing me for the first time, meeting my wife and sixteen year old son.

Many things looked strange to me, our home so small but clean the people the animals undernourished. Within a few hours of our arrival the word must have spread all my relatives came we began to have a good time. It was good to be home again. The rest of the day we were busy socializing, catching up on old times, meeting and learning new things on what life is now in Macea my home town.

A good nights sleep was very welcome at the end of the first day at home, God knows we needed it. Tomorrow will be another day to look forward to with great anticipation, and hopefully great joy.

With this my friends let me end this segment, till next time when my visit at home begins No one is more excited than me, so please join us again in this journey.
