PostHeaderIcon Let Us Remember Who We Are | Americans First

As an immigrant myself I am forever mystified on the continuation of prejudice, discrimination, and bigotry still very prevalent in this nation we all love, The United States of America.

Now that we have our first President of color, one would think we would no longer practice this. If I remember our constitution, it says, “We are all created equal”.

Ok I might have paraphrased it, but you get the meaning.

As a newly arrived immigrant family to America penniless, New York City became our home. So life began anew, and it did not take us long to understand, America is truly the land of opportunity.

Life in New York City with its multi ethnic, multi-racial, multi-lingual population, we had no problem becoming acclimatized. We also where multi-lingual, speaking three languages. But English we had yet to learn so that became a top priority!
